Surroundings
Kingfisher Retreat is a stunning thatched home and is
situated on the edge of its own unique spring-fed lake. This
is surrounded by a wooded area and beautiful landscaped gardens
which encourage natural wildlife and provide a home for our own
ornamental ducks.
Please feel free to stroll around the lake and enjoy the habitat
with a glass of wine, or have a picnic using our tables and chairs
dotted around the lake.

This is just one
of the many routes that Martyn and I frequently walk or cycle across the
forest, with a charming cosy pub at the end with beer barrels on
stands behind the bar. The atmosphere will go home with you.
Step back in time! Wonderful at all times of year. Enjoy the seasons!
If you want to
see the forest on horseback, we have Arniss Equestrian Centre just
a mile away.

From
M27:-
Leave motorway at junction 1 , signposted NEW FOREST and CADNAM,
take the 3rd exit off the roundabout, and follow the signs to
FORDINGBRIDGE.
Eventually you will drive through the village of GODSHILL.
"Sandy Balls Holiday Centre" will be passed on your right.
After another 0.3 miles, turn left into BLISSFORD RD and after 0.4
miles KINGFISHER COTTAGE will be on your left.
Total 9.4 miles from M27.
From Fordingbridge:-
From the flyover, drive east signposted GODSHILL B3078.
After 1 mile turn right into BLISSFORD RD, and after 0.4 mile
KINGFISHER COTTAGE will be on your left.
